The Bauer GX Senior Goalie Blocker are the entry level offering from Bauer in the GSX line. The GX goalie blocker is constructed with a Low-Density Blocking Board, Adjustable Wrist Closure, and Nash Palm material.
External Material
The entirety of the exterior of this blocker is covered in a synthetic leather material to give good durability, as well as some good performance at this price point.
Internals
The blocker board on the GX is a low-density one-piece material. This will protect the back of the hand well, and provide control and consistency in deflecting pucks when making a save.
Palm Material
The palm on the GX blocker is a nash palm with stretch mesh gussets for breathability in the blocker.
Side Hand Protection
The side hand protection is the same low-density blocking board material used in the main blocking surface.
Cuff
The cuff on the Bauer GX blocker has a velcro closure, enabling a well fitting blocker, but allowing mobility and freedom to move and adjust.
